Rob Miracle

ROBSelfPortrait.jpg (24964 bytes) About Rob Miracle:
Rob Miracle is a freelance photographer in Key West, Florida and has been published in local publications such as Island News and the Key West Citizen. He has also been published in the New York Times. Island News is his primary client, but he has also provided photos to Gatorade, Reuters, and Capstone Press.

While Mr. Miracle currently earns his primary income from computer programming, though he has never lost his love for photography including sports. “I always tell people that I am a professional photographer, I just make better money at my hobby” he says with all seriousness. He started photography in high school for his year book. Upon entering College at the University of Kentucky, he shot for both the yearbook, and the paper, the Kentucky Kernel which included covering Football, Basketball, and Tennis for the publications. After transferring to Eastern Kentucky University, he continued to take journalism courses in addition to his computer programming major. While shooting for the EKU paper, The Eastern Progress, he reached the title of Photo Editor for the paper before setting down to work on his major full time.

After a 14-year absence from the daily shooting grind, an opportunity presented itself for Mr. Miracle to earn money at both of his passions when he started shooting for Island News. The recognition and opportunities from that job have led him to several contacts and stock sales outside of the island community.

Bill Lemon

bill1.jpg (12896 bytes)About Bill Lemon:
Bill Lemon Photography is a very active commercial studio. Between conducting local workshops on fashion and glamour, Lemon is busy photographing everything from engine parts, jewelry, and dinnerware to fashion layouts. He also has a new book on black-and-white glamour photography.

The studio is rather small compared to others-with a shooting area of 15 by 40 feet, with old barn wood and stucco walls, but what it lacks in size, it makes up in quality.

Lemon, who started his photography career in 1981, has shot assignments for many large companies and top publications, including Chevron, Mervyns, Marin Apparel Co., Alpha Vista Inc., Shutterbug, Napa Valley Appellation, Studio Photography, Photography Information Council, and California State Parks.

His passion for fashion and beauty is evident in his work, as is, his ability to capture the essence of the product, subject, and atmosphere all in one shot.
