    Instruction / Tips

Shoot a bold landscape using no more than 3 elements E.G. Sky, hill & animal A long lens will help isolate objects by 'stacking' them up optically.

Use composition that makes the picture look balanced.

Make a boring landscape more interesting by framing the image If you use a wide  angle lens at a small aperture you can frame by using a  window or trees in the foreground.
Use an object to create a visual 'scale' reference in a landscape picture Select a vast landscape which has no scale reference and place a person or a car in the picture as reference
Use a person in a landscape image to add visual interest Have the person in colorful clothing and doing something. Don't forget the rule of thirds
Shoot a vertical landscape picture suitable for use on a poster Leave room for a title at the top of the frame.

Use strong, bright colors and don't forget human interest.
